About Us
oldmac.com is hosted by DMAC Technologies (www.dmac.ca). DMAC is a Canadian company, established in February 1997.
DMAC is an Authorized Apple Dealer and Service Provider. It was founded as a consulting-oriented VAR. Ultimately, DMAC emerged as a reseller, filling the market need for personal computers. To differentiate itself from more price oriented national chains, DMAC emphasizes good product knowledge, professional service and support to customers. Our mission is to provide Macintosh computer products, quality consulting and repair services to the Mac community in a professional and friendly way. Our sales associates are experienced Mac users, and all our technical staff are Apple Certified Technicians.
We serve our customers as trusted allies, providing them with the loyalty of a business partner and the economics of an outside vendor. We make sure that our customers have what they need to run their businesses so as to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability. Consequently, we recognize the importance of providing quality on-site service. We are specially focused on providing PC/MAC integration network systems and services to small, medium, and large businesses. The systems include both MAC-based LAN systems and server-based systems. Our services include design and installation of network systems, training, and support.
DMAC has excellent relationships with its primary suppliers, Apple Canada and Adobe Systems Inc. DMAC frequently partners with Apple and Adobe to offer free information seminars to the public at Apple Canada’s office in Richmond and at different locations in the Vancouver Downtown area. DMAC is also a major sponsor to the local Mac User Groups such as MacWest and ApplesBC. We attend their regular monthly meetings to answer any questions that the Mac user members might have.
Some of DMAC’s regular customers include Electronic Arts, CBC, CityTV, 93.7 JRfm and 600am Radio Stations, Langara College, UBC, SFU, Vancouver Film School, Arts Institutes, Grey Worldwide, BC Hydro, Science World, Creo, Nokia Canada, and different school districts including the Vancouver School Board.
